The other day I was watching a Hispanic talk show called “El Show de Cristina” led by Cristina Saralegui. She had invited a homosexual couple who hired a woman’s womb to be able to create a family for themselves. They stated that the unused embryos would have to be destroyed, and they admitted that they did not believe that was abortion or murder. They also said that the embryos could be donated to another couple that needed them. Moments later a heterosexual couple was interviewed by Cristina and they likewise hired a woman’s womb to have a family. While the embryos are tossed here and there as dispensable items or faulty products that must be discarded.
Several things shocked me while I watched that show that night: a homosexual couple violating the God-ordained way to have a family, their approval of murder, they’re agreement on passing on their perversion to their children who do not know who’s mom and who’s dad but who, according to society’s morality, must be loved, accepted, and tolerated. Another thing that appalled me was the boldness with which one of the men said “I do not believe it is murder, because God gives life and takes it away, so these children that we now have are here because God gave them life” He’s right on that, but yet he approves of abortion. And these children that “came out good” will be raised to believe that homosexuality, abortion, and perversion are normal, and that God’s beautiful gift of life can be hired so that they, since they cannot have children, can have a family.
Should this really have shocked and appalled me? The Bible says we live in the times of Noah,
“But as it was in the days of Noah, so it shall be also at the coming of the Son of Man; For it shall be with them, as it was in the days which were before the flood; for until the day that Noah entered into the ark they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage; And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. Matthew 41-43”
The Son of Man, Jesus Christ is coming back, not as the humble servant, but as the mighty Lord of Glory, the Righteous Judge, to pass Judgment on the Earth and its evildoers. Are we standing for the truth as Noah did? Even when more than 100 years passed before the flood came? Are we loving enough to preach the gospel? Do we abhor what God abhors? and love what He loves?
It’s only going to get worse. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t stand for truth:
“Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy;Free them from the hand of the wicked” Psalm 82:3-4
It says FREE THEM from the hand of the wicked. Go to abortion clinics, protest, advocate life and how precious it is, advocate God’s law and His judgment, and His love for these unborn creatures.
In short, stand for truth in love.
